Prada Sunglasses Collection
The Prada brand denotes high-quality products that fuse an innovative approach with a strong tradition of craftsmanship.
Prada is synonymous with a style that has always anticipated, and often dictated, new trends in every field. Prada’s influence is universally acknowledged by the market and its most astute observers.
For Prada, the nexus of everything is unquestionable quality, which is applied to every stage of its process, from design to the selection of materials, from manufacturing to retail sales, from advertising campaigns to communication strategies. All this comes together to create a “chain of value” that generates “total quality”.
This precision is never ostentatious, but rather demonstrates the attention to detail that gives a unique and desirable allure to all Prada products.
Sophisticated and elegant, Prada products are characterised by a distinctive personality and unmistakable style.
Once again we find these qualities in the eyewear presented in Prada’s new “Sun” and “Optical” collections.
SPRING/SUMMER 2007 COLLECTION
Shapes are refined and either soft and sensuous or attractively assertive, while materials are experimented with, contrasting acetate with metal. Together, this defines the new Prada eyewear.
One of the collection’s most important adornments is the original Prada logo, which features the coat of arms and knots of the House of Savoy, the Italian royal family of which Prada was the official supplier starting in 1913. The logo appears in full or in part, on the temple or the front, on acetate or metal.
One must take special note of the new “Saffiano” effect, which is achieved through a special process that gives the glasses the appearance of Prada’s signature leather.
